MCE Scotland has worked extensively with NHS Scotland to provide BMS solutions to Hospitals, Clinics and Health Centres throughout Scotland.
In many instances MCE were required to decommission existing outdated Controls equipment and install new Cylon Controllers without causing disruption to patients and staff. By liasing with Estates Engineers MCE were able to handover all of these contracts with minimal fuss and to the client’s satisfaction.
Within these NHS sites we have installed Cylon systems that are communicating with standard items of plant from Boilers, Air Handling Units and Plate Heat Exchangers to more Close Control systems within Laboratories and Clean Rooms.
MCE were able to provide total environmental control with heating, cooling and humidification interfaced with a remote surgeons panel. There is also the ability to interrogate the site via the Cylon Site Guide display panel situated on the front of the Control Panels.
As well as the ability for local interrogation via the Cylon Site Guide, All items of plant interfacing with the Cylon BMS Controls System are now interfaced to the Estates Team Cylon Command Centre via the Hospital’s Ethernet.
MCE have also set-up alarms to go to the On-Call Engineers’ mobile phones so that they have an early warning system in place for any critical items of plant.
